cubemap software package provides scalable video reflector, designed to be used with VLC, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cubemap
cubemap is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cubemap package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cubemap *
You will get with cubemap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
